Recognising the essential role that our children and young people play in shaping the future of the region, Council is in the process of developing our first Youth Strategy, with the assistance of an expert team from the University of Newcastle.
Council would like to thank the community who have contributed to the process so far, through attendance at focus groups or completion of the online survey. Winners were drawn from those who submitted a survey response. Congratulations to Randall & Rebecca Medd and Eliza Mudford, who were the recipients of a Coo-ee Cash Card.
The Draft Youth Strategy will be reviewed by Council, followed by a period of public exhibition.
