Opening Times

The Gilgandra Swimming Pool is now closed for the season. The Pool is due to reopen on the October Long Weekend, for the 2024/25 season.

Standard opening times are as follows:  

 

Monday to Friday

Saturday to Sunday

October - November

6am to 8am and 3pm to 6pm

12pm to 6pm

December - January
(incl. School Holidays)

6am to 8am and 12pm to 7pm

12pm to 7pm

February - March

6am to 8am and 3pm to 6pm

12pm to 6pm

Half season tickets available from 1 January

Season tickets are available from Service NSW, Miller Street. They are not available to purchase from the pool.

School Holiday entry fee is $1 pp

 

Entry Terms & Conditions

General Terms and Conditions

  • Use the pool at your own risk – Gilgandra Shire Council are not responsible for accidents or injuries.
  • Unless being directly supervised in a booked programme, children unable to swim must be supervised by a responsible person.
  • Children under 10 years old must be accompanied by an adult 18 years or over.
  • Limit of five (5) children (under the age of 10) to be accompanied by a single adult to the pool.
  • Non-toilet-trained children are required to wear swim diapers.
  • Only appropriate swim attire to be worn in the pool.
  • All bathers to use a high standard of personal hygiene before entering the pool.
  • No entry to “Staff Only” or “Prohibited Entry” areas.
  • No pets in pool area.
  • No loitering or photography in or around change rooms.
  • No glass or breakable containers.
  • No abusive/offensive behaviour or language.
  • Dive only in designated areas.
  • No running, pushing, bombing, somersaults or rough play in and around pool area.
  • No alcohol permitted in pool grounds.
  • No smoking.
  • Do not bring or consume food, drinks, tobacco, or gum in the pool.
  • No persons are permitted in the pool if they have or are suspected of having communicable diseases or open wounds, lesions, or sores in the previous two weeks.
  • Management reserves the right to deny use of pool to anyone at any time.
  • Gilgandra Shire Council’s Swimming Pool Disciplinary Policy applies to all patrons.
  • Use of inflatable devices and balls is subject to staff approval.
